Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Xin Chao, welcome to Vietnam, Hanoi city and start of your holiday. Meet and greet your driver upon arrival and transfer to the city center hotel.

There are no planned activities today until the evening welcome meeting. Feel free to explore the city on your own before the meeting, and make sure you’ll be back in time to meet the group. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour half day

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel, followed by a city tour. Places to visit: The Ho Chi Minh Complex, the Temple of Literature , French Quarter & Ngoc Son Temple

Afternoon: Have lunch at an authentic Vietnamese Restaurant. Free time at leisure for rest of the day.

Day 3: Hanoi | Sapa – Thanh Kim – Ban Ho

Start your day by a drive to Thanh Kim village, which is inhabited mainly by ethnic people to visit several dozen wooden houses. Trekking through the rice terrace of Sapa and spending time with Red Dao group before heading to Ban Ho village.

Day 4: Hang Da – Hau Thao – Sa Seng – Ta Phin

From Ban Ho village, you’ll be transferred to Ta Phin village with those stops at Hang Da – Hau Thao and Sa Seng to do some trekking and take some nice photos.

Day 5: Ta Phin – Ma Tra – Sapa | Hanoi

After breakfast, you’ll have a chance trekking inside Ta Phin village, then transfer to Ma Tra to enjoy the panorama view of the whole valley before heading to Hanoi city.

Day 6: Hanoi | Ha Long bay | Bai Tu Long

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a visit to one of the most breath-taking off the beaten tracks of Halong bay World Heritage site called Bai Tu Long. Explore unspoiled beauty of Thien Canh Son cave with incredible stalactites and natural images before kayaking in Cong Do area.

Day 7: Ha Long bay | Hanoi | Train to Dong Hoi

Start your day with the morning Tai Chi on the sundeck before visiting Vung Vieng fishing village by sampan boat, to discover the life of the local people on the bay.

Later, back in the cruise, followed by lunch on board while going back to the prier, then onward transfer back to Hanoi city.

Day 8: Dong Hoi | Phong Nha Cave – Paradise Cave| Dong Hoi

Meet and greet your driver upon arrival at Dong Hoi train station and heading to Phong Nha with a stop at a local restaurant for breakfast. Then start off your adventure with a visit at Phong Nha cave with its rock formation which is differently named as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court” or the “Bhudda”.

Mid day, enjoy the lunch at the restaurant followed by a trip to Paradise cave. Here you will have a chance to visit one of the most beautiful caves in the world and also well-known as the longest dry cave in Asia.

After exploring Paradise Cave, drive to hotel in town.

Day 9: Dong Hoi | DMZ – Vinh Moc | Hue

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a journey to visit Vinh Moc tunnel which is 2.5 hours away. Here you will have a chance to go through the DMZ, which is well-known as to shelter people from the intense bombing in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone, to explore how the people survived during the war. After that, cross the Ben Hai River on Hien Luong bridge which was an important landmark in the partition of the country into a northern and a southern zone along the 17th parallel (1954-1975)

Day 10: Hue half day city tour

And Lang Co bay, an attractive island-like stretch of palm-shaded white sand, with a turquoise lagoon on one side. Make sure your camera is full of batteries for this breath-taking journey.

Day 12: My Son half day tour

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a visit at My Son Sanctuary, which is one of the World listed sites in Vietnam. Here you will have a chance to visit the ancient Cham towers and sanctuaries built over 2000 years old, also have a glance about the lifestyle of the present day Cham people.

Later, visit Sa Huynh Champa Culture Museum in Tra Kien to discover a good example of a Cham site that has almost disappeared, and is now remembered by artifacts, artwork, and memory alone.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh city | Cu Chi Tunnel | Ho Chi Minh city

Day 16: Ho Chi Minh | Mekong Delta | Can Tho

A visit to the Mekong Delta is so memorable because of the region’s diversity. Board on a long tail boat and experience the diversity of the Mekong waterways first hand as you explore fish farms and exotic fruit farms.Touring the orchards, paddy fields and swamplands of the Mekong Delta, you could be forgiven for thinking you’ve stepped into the pages of a geography textbook. Many visitors spend a day or two in Can Tho, the delta’s biggest settlement, to take advantage of its decent hotels and restaurants and to recharge batteries before venturing out to the floating markets nearby.

Day 17: Cai Rang Floating Market | Ho Chi Minh 

After Breakfast at hotel, take a motor boat to visit Cai Rang – the most fascinating floating market where we can see all trading activities on Mekong river. Do you mind to taste a bowl of “ hu tieu”- traditional rice noodle of Mekong delta person or try a small piece of durian which is the most addicted fruit to local people? A short stop to visit rice husking mill and walk around the village. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Disembark at Ninh Kieu and transfer back to HCMC after lunch in Can Tho.
